Julio Gutierrez works for Asocebu, the cattle association of Zebu cattle in Colombia, which includes Brahmans. Through his role inspecting herds across the country, Julio has seen firsthand the severe fertility problems that are devastating many herds. His extensive experience has led him to identify genetics as the primary contributor to these issues.

Through years of observing and evaluating herds, Julio developed the skill for recognizing productive cattle. This keen eye for identifying the right genetics has positioned him as a key figure in addressing the fertility challenges faced by Colombian cattle operations.

To tackle these problems on a larger scale, Julio has co-founded Bos Sires. His goal is to represent and promote the genetics and breeders that offer a solution to the fertility crisis. Through Bos Sires, Julio aims to transform the cattle industry in Colombia by advocating for sustainable and productive genetics that can thrive in the country's conditions.
